Charlie’s ‘first career’ was flying airplanes; six years in the Navy (A-4’s and A-7’s) and then twenty-five years with Delta Airlines in Atlanta. After an early retirement he has settled on Lady’s Island and started his ‘second career’ with Ballenger Realty.
